Sfakia Herbs

The Papasifakis Farm is located in Anopoli Sfakion at an altitude of about 700 meters. We cultivate wild Cretan herbs such as dittany (Origanum dictamnus), marjoram (Origanum microphyllum), malotira (Sideritis syriaca subsp. syriaca), sage (Salvia fruticosa), and oregano (Origanum vulgare).

All work (cultivation, collection, drying, etc.) is done exclusively by hand and using manual tools, maintaining the authenticity of the process. The rocky and barren soil combined with the long dry season results in small-scale but exceptionally high-quality production.
